The Hancock Woman’s Club is offering scholarship assistance to adult women in mid-career who have lived in or worked in Hancock for at least two years.
The scholarships support women seeking to begin, change or return to careers after time spent rearing a family or managing other responsibilities. Applicants must provide official confirmation of acceptance to or enrollment in a program at a college, university, technical or training school, or in a continuing education program or apprenticeship.
Applications must be completed and submitted by March 12.
Scholarship funds come from gifts by an anonymous donor who funded the original program, a donation celebrating the life of Caitlin Mullin, other private donations and the club’s fundraising activities.
