A ConVal school bus carrying middle and high school students in Greenfield had a minor collision with another vehicle just after 7 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 12.
Greenfield Police Chief Frank Shea called the incident a “just a fender-bender, ” and said the accident was under investigation. Police had not determined the cause, but it was not weather related, the chief said.
ConVal buses are operated by Student Transportation of America.
The bus was crossing Forest Road when it collided with a silver Jeep in the intersection of Forest Road and Old Bennington Road.
Shea said the drivers and passengers were checked for injuries but no one was transported.
“The side of the Jeep received moderate damage, and the bus received minor end damage, but everyone was fine,” Shea said.
