The Peterborough Town Library will host a Peterborough Presents program, โ€œExploring the Benefits of Qigong, Tai Chi & Sound Immersion,โ€ with two free information sessions this month.

Sessions are scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 17, from 1-2 p.m., and Saturday, Feb. 28, from 2-3 p.m., at the library, 2 Concord Street.

Local practitioners Cynthia Hajjar and Tracy Trudeau will present introductions to Qigong, Tai Chi and sound immersion and discuss upcoming classes at the Peterborough Unitarian Universalist Church.

Hajjar will lead โ€œDiscovering Balance and Harmony Through Movement and Sound Immersion,โ€ focusing on mindful movement and sound practices. Trudeau will present โ€œTai Chi & Fall Prevention,โ€ highlighting research on reducing fall risk through Tai Chi.

The program is free and open to the public.
