The Rindge Conservation Commission will hold a Moonlight Owl Prowl at 7 p.m. Jan. 31 at Tetreault Park. The free, public hike will begin at the parkโ€™s parking area on Rand Road.

Commission Chair David Drouin will lead participants along established trails while looking and listening for nocturnal birds, particularly Great Horned and Barred owls active during winter as they prepare for breeding season.

Participants are encouraged to dress for cold evening conditions with warm footwear and layered clothing. Snowshoes or cross-country skis are optional if snow is present, and traction is recommended if conditions are icy. Hikers should bring water and snacks.

In case of inclement weather, cancellations will be posted on the Town of Rindge website. More information is available by emailing rindgeconcom@rindgenh.gov.
