Yankee humorists Fred Marple and Rebecca Rule will take the stage at the Park Theatre in Jaffrey on Friday, Dec. 12, at 7 p.m. for “A Yankee Christmas,” an evening of storytelling, music, and light-hearted New England holiday humor.
Marple will share โnewsโ from his hometown of Frost Heaves, the mythical New Hampshire town he represents as its unofficial spokesman, while Rule โ host of “Our Hometown” on NHPBS and a longtime regional storyteller โ will offer tales gathered from across New England. The program features comic inventions such as Kitty Cat Personal Heaters, Perfectly Good Christmas Trees, and the โMind Your Own Business Fun Set,โ along with prizes and plenty of seasonal laughs.
