Yankee humorists Fred Marple and Rebecca Rule will take the stage at the Park Theatre in Jaffrey on Friday, Dec. 12, at 7 p.m. for “A Yankee Christmas,” an evening of storytelling, music, and light-hearted New England holiday humor.

Marple will share โ€œnewsโ€ from his hometown of Frost Heaves, the mythical New Hampshire town he represents as its unofficial spokesman, while Rule โ€” host of “Our Hometown” on NHPBS and a longtime regional storyteller โ€” will offer tales gathered from across New England. The program features comic inventions such as Kitty Cat Personal Heaters, Perfectly Good Christmas Trees, and the โ€œMind Your Own Business Fun Set,โ€ along with prizes and plenty of seasonal laughs.

The family-friendly show is suitable for all ages. Tickets are $20 and available at the door, online at theparktheatre.org, or by calling 603-532-9300.
