The Peterborough Lions Club is selling holiday trees at Valley Automotive, 36 Elm St., in Peterborough, across from the Community Center. The trees, sourced from northern Vermont, are priced at $60. Trees seven feet and taller are available for $75.
Lions Club members will staff the sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays until the trees are gone. Weekday purchases may be made inside Valley Automotive.
Proceeds support local vision services, including eye screenings, exams and eyeglasses for schools, organizations and individuals. The Peterborough Lions also contribute to area programs including End 68 Hours of Hunger, the Peterborough Food Pantry, Monadnock Early Learning Center, the Cornucopia Project and the Peterborough Recreation Department’s Teens in Action program.
