Electric Earth Concerts will present the Horszowski Trio at its December Gala on Sunday, Dec. 7, at 4 p.m. at the First Church in Jaffrey. The program will feature works by William Bolcom, Haydn, Elliott Carter, and Ravel. A champagne reception will follow the performance.
Formed in 2011, the trio takes its name from pianist Mieczyslaw Horszowski, with whom the group’s pianist studied at the Curtis Institute of Music. In 2023, the Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition established the Horszowski Trio Prize to support rising chamber ensembles.
