The Dublin Public Library will host a New Hampshire Humanities program, “From Mickey to Magoo,” on Thursday, Nov. 20, at 6 p.m. at 1114 Main St.
Presenter Margo Burns will explore the history of classic animation, introducing the studios and creative minds behind the cartoons that captivated theater audiences from the 1920s through the 1960s. The talk will trace the evolution of animated shorts that featured beloved characters such as Mickey Mouse and Mr. Magoo, offering insight into the artists and cultural trends that shaped this golden era of film.
The event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
