The best rep for District 31
I have never met the Republican candidate for Representative for District 31, Jarvis Adams, but I have also never met anyone who had a bad thing to say about him. As a plumber, musician, and citizen, Jarvis Adams sounds like a credit to our community, and I hope to meet him someday. But I won’t be voting for him. Frankly, I’m not sure how much he desires to be our representative. He did not put himself on the ballot and seemingly had no intention to run. After the deadline passed, the Republican Committee put him on the ballot. Molly Howard, however, is running for reelection to the seat which she has held for two terms. Molly Howard has worked tirelessly for the people of District 31 – forging alliances across the aisle with Republicans on bills for the benefit of all Granite Staters, working on making the state government more responsive to voters, and fighting against cuts to education budgets and deals for billionaires and data centers. She’s even slept overnight in her truck in Concord so she could work later and start earlier. Howard has proved her worth to us; Adams couldn’t be bothered to put his name on the ballot.
