The Lafayette Artillery Company hosted Lyndeborough’s annual Veterans Day Observance at Center Hall at 11 a.m. on Nov. 11.
The 1844 six-pound cannon was fired three times by honored guests: Alan Hoffman, president of the American Friends of Lafayette; veteran Paul Tetreault, SGT E-5, combat engineer (1986-1989); and veteran Thomas Plourde, SP5 (1969-1972).
Following the observance, cannon firing, and the sounding of Taps, attendees gathered inside Center Hall for refreshments and a social hour.
