When Tyler turned 18, he was kicked out of his parents house. After hours of wandering the dark and cold street something caught Tyler’s eyes. It was a small shack, it looked abandoned and not too dirty. Tyler made his way over to the house and before he knew it he was inside. It was much warmer than the streets, there was a dusty bed, a couch, and a TV. Tyler felt like the TV was pulling him in, making him turn it on. He had no idea why the TV was so tempting but he went over and tried turning it on. Nothing happened. He then went to sleep, exhausted and tired from wandering the streets for so long, hoping for a warm morning tomorrow.
Something deafening and eerie woke Tyler and he shot up. Tyler started looking around and noticed the TV screen was static and that’s where the sound was coming from. The TV stopped after Tyler looked at it for a bit. After a while he guessed it was a glitch, it won’t happen again. This time he woke to a nightmare, all he could remember was a figure standing there. It was black, with blood red sharp teeth, and humanoid. It had this goo dripping from its limbs. It was part of the ground, like it was decaying. It had a guttural sound coming from it.
Tyler tried to go back to sleep when the static noise started again, but this time with loud, high-pitched screeching. On the TV there it was, the creature. It looked as if it was trying to get out , like it was stuck in the TV. Tyler bolted for the door but it did not open, all he could do was stare at the TV. Suddenly the creature started crawling out of the TV, Tyler was on the side and the creature whipped its head around to stare at him, its eyes blank and empty. It fully came out. Tyler was at a loss for words, he tried speaking but he couldn’t.
The creature continued looking at him, “ you’re the perfect one, I can’t let you go,” a smile forming on its face. And the creature disappeared. Was it all in his head? No, there was glass on the floor, and there was a tapping on his shoulder…
