First responders: Thank you
My wife Robin, my son Bayard, and I want to thank the Peterborough Rescue team and the Monadnock Community Hospital Emergency Room staff for extraordinary efforts to save my son Chad, following a medical emergency while working on Oct. 13. The doctors and nurses gave us the comfort we very much needed and explained everything as they worked on Chad.
When the med-flight was grounded because of bad weather, the same Peterborough ambulance crew that had first worked on Chad volunteered to transport him to the Catholic Medical Center for further treatment.
Chad passed that night, but my family is comforted and thankful to all those wonderful professionals who did everything possible to save my son’s life.
