Ingalls Memorial Library’s Learn at Lunch program on Friday, Sept. 25, featured author Jean Duffy of Somerville, Mass., a member of the Lexpressas women’s soccer team.
Duffy discussed her award-winning book “Soccer Grannies: The South African Women Who Inspire the World,” which tells the story of 40- to 80-year-old South African women who play soccer for health and companionship.
In April 2025, two U.S. teams, including Rindge resident Susan Kochinskas, traveled to South Africa to compete in the World’s Soccer Grannies Tournament.
