The Wilton Folk Café will host Sláinte, Baby on Friday, Oct. 3, at 7:30 p.m. at the Wilton Collaborative Space, Second Congregational Church Hall, 21 Gregg St. Doors open at 7 p.m. Admission is free, with refreshments served by the Friends of the Wilton Public Library.

Sláinte, Baby, based in South Carolina, blends Southern grooves with the rock and soul sound of the 1970s. Their debut EP, featuring the single “Rise and Shine,” has gained attention in Americana and alternative folk circles while also climbing R&B charts.

The duo of Paul and Jessica Reeves brings deep musical experience to the stage. Jessica honed her voice in the Boston club scene, performing with Gary Cherone of Extreme and Robert Holmes of ’Til Tuesday. Paul’s songwriting draws from his Belfast upbringing and mentorship under Delaney Bramlett and Merle Haggard.
