The Mt. Monadnock 10U team lost its first two games of the regional tournament in Cranston, R.I., losing 14-2 to Maine Saturday and 13-0 to Connecticut Sunday.
Rocco Peck took the loss for the New Hampshire state champions. He pitched 1 1/3 innings, allowing four runs (three earned) on one hit, striking out none and walking four. He also drove in a run.

Mason Creamer and Pierce Adams each collected one hit for Mt Monadnock.
Adams took the loss against Connecticut. He went two innings, surrendering six runs (zero earned) on three hits, striking out two and walking one. He also recorded a hit, as did James St. John.
Mt. Monadnock also turned a double play when Adams fielded a ball and threw to Peck at first base, who then threw to and then to Dylan Hatton to get the runner at the plate.
Mt. Monadnock’s next game was scheduled for Wednesday against Rhode Island.
