New Hampshire’s pheasant hunting season begins Oct. 1 and runs through Dec. 31.
Approximately 9,500 adult ring-necked pheasants will be released across all 10 counties, averaging 130 birds per site.
Stocking sites will close to hunting until 2 p.m. on in-season stocking dates: Oct. 8-9, Oct. 15-16, and Oct. 22-23. Stocking ends Oct. 23. The Whig Hill Road site in Strafford and the Head Pond Road site in Milan will not be stocked this year; the Milan site has relocated to East Side River Road.
