The Amos Fortune Forum will host Sam Evans-Brown, executive director of Clean Energy New Hampshire, for a talk titled “The Energy Transition and Why It’s Inevitable” on Friday, July 18, at 8 p.m. at the Jaffrey Meetinghouse.

Evans-Brown will address the status of solar and wind energy in New Hampshire, recent changes in support for renewable energy and how the state might navigate the shift to a cleaner, more efficient energy system. He will also examine trends such as falling prices for solar and battery storage, developments in electrified transportation and what they could mean for regional energy policy.

A native of the Lakes Region, Evans-Brown has led Clean Energy New Hampshire since 2021. Before that, he spent nearly a decade as a journalist at New Hampshire Public Radio, where he reported on energy and environmental issues and hosted the station’s podcast “Outside/In.”

The event is free and open to the public. A recording will be available on YouTube after the presentation. For information, visit amosfortune.org.
