The Harris Center for Conservation Education and the Peterborough Recreation Department teamed up on Wednesday to provide a “morning meander” on Cunningham Pond.
Residents were invited to bring their own kayaks or canoes for a flatwater paddle to look for turtles, frogs, herons and other wildlife.
The next Wild Paddlers trip will be on Wednesday, July 23 on the Contoocook River in Greenfield and Peterborough, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Registration is required, and the exact meeting place will be provided upon registration. Space is limited. Register on the Harris Center for Conservation Education website, harriscenter.org.
