The Contoocook Lake Association will host a Lake Appreciation Day social on Saturday, May 31, from 2 to 6 p.m. at the Jaffrey Town Beach on Contoocook Lake. The rain date is Sunday, June 1.
The event is free and open to the public, including non-Jaffrey residents. Parking will be available for all attendees.
The afternoon will include food, raffles and live music, with performances by Tom Hsu, Lee Shapiro of Witts End and others. Attendees will have the chance to meet members of the Contoocook Lake Association and learn more about efforts to protect and enjoy the lake.
