“The Dawn of Impressionism,” part of “Exhibitions on Screen,” will be shown Wednesday, April 9, at 1:30 p.m. at The Park Theatre, 19 Main St. in Jaffrey.
The film, made in collaboration with the Muséed’Orsay and National Gallery of Art, explores the 1874 exhibition that launched the Impressionist movement and includes accounts from artists, press and Parisians of the time. It is directed by Ali Ray and produced by Phil Grabsky.
