The Friends of the Jaffrey Library will accept book donations Saturday, March 8, from 10 a.m. to noon in the Bean Room of the library, 38 Main St.
Donations are limited to 15 books per person and must be in good condition with no writing, tears or stains. The Friends will not accept magazines, encyclopedias, textbooks, travel guides, medical, financial advice or computer books. Popular items include recent hardback and paperback fiction and newer nonfiction.
Book donations are accepted only on the second Saturday of each month. Do not leave books with library staff or in the outside book drop.
Funds from book sales support library programs, including “Becoming Wolf: The Eastern Coyote in New England” by NH Wildlife Coalition co-founder Chris Schadler on April 5 at 11 a.m.
