Peterborough author and illustrator Lita Judge will sign copies of her new picture book, “Wake Up Moon,” at the Toadstool Bookshop at 12 Depot St. in Peterborough on Saturday, Nov. 23, at 11 a.m.
Judge’s latest work is dedicated to her grandmother, who inspired a family tradition of night walks under the full moon. Her grandmother’s book, “Walk When the Moon is Full,” sparked these excursions, which Judge fondly recalls from her childhood winters in Wisconsin. The nighttime scenes, from frozen scarves to wildlife sightings, created lasting memories that now shape “Wake Up Moon” as a tribute to those experiences.
