Lionheart Classical Academy in Peterborough has added three new trustees to the charter school’s board: Jason Nero, Lori Finn, and Kristie Greenwood.
All three have children who are students at Lionheart Classical Academy.
“I am delighted to welcome these three talented new trustees to our board,” stated Barry Tanner, chairman of Lionheart Classical Academy, in the announcement of the new board members. “We were fortunate enough to have a number of well-qualified community and parent candidate volunteers offer to serve on the academy’s board, and the new trustees appointed bring important skills to our existing board.”
Now halfway through its second academic year of operation, Lionheart Classical Academy has increased its enrollment to 270 students in Kindergarten through sixth grade.
“In fewer than 18 months, Lionheart Classical Academy has already made a significant contribution to the range of educational choices available to families in our region,” stated Tanner. “We are gratified by the positive response of hundreds of parents to the availability of a classical education for their children, and we are just getting started.”
Lionheart Classical Academy is making plans to add grade seven in September 2024 and will be expanding its faculty and classroom facilities to be ready to welcome additional students this fall.
