This guide provides resources related to substance use and mental health services in the region. From meeting times for AA, NA, Al-Anon and Alateen groups to brain injury, bereavement, caregiver, elder care, mental health and parenting support groups, it includes listings for behavioral health counseling services and substance use treatment resources. The guide provides locations, websites, phone numbers and other information to help people access services.
It also contains lists of family and youth resources, including family centers, Head Start centers, libraries, recreation departments and food banks, as well as a variety of helpful agency websites. In addition, it includes contact information for national, state and local organizations that provide support to veterans.
The guide was produced by Be the Change Behavioral Health Task Force, a group of community volunteers committed to improving well-being in the Monadnock region.
Be the Change promotes awareness and provides education, support and resources related to substance use and mental health services in the region. We understand that navigating where to go and determining the next steps is not easy. Together, this group is working to help families and individuals facing these challenging issues.
We hope you find this publication useful and that you are able to share these local resources with family and friends.
