On Sept. 18, the Peterborough Woman’s Club held a membership meet-and-greet at Stepping Stones Farm and Event Center in Temple, where seven new members joined the club.

The nonprofit organization hosts monthly activities aimed at making the community healthy and happier, including participation in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk in Concord Sunday Oct. 15, and assembling Halloween treat bags for End 68 Hours of Hunger on Thursday Oct. 19.

Formed in 1897, the mission of the PWC is to connect, educate and empower women of all ages and backgrounds to actively participate in the community through mentoring, networking and volunteering. New members are welcome to join at any time. Details about fall events and membership information can be found at peterboroughwomansclub.org.
