Catholic Charities’ variance request in front of the Zoning Board of Adjustment for its affordable housing development at 10 and 12 Vose Farm Road was continued Monday until Oct. 16 at 6 p.m.

The request is to fill 2,570 square feet of wetlands in the Wetlands Protection overlay zone, but according to ZBA Chair Sharon Monahan, the board needs more information, including a report from the Conservation Commission and information from Catholic Charities’ wetlands scientist, before making a decision.

Catholic Charities received ZBA approval in March for a 96-unit, mixed-income, multigenerational development in the Business/Industrial zone. The project also received Planning Board approval in August, with conditions that included no further encroachment into the wetland and a requirement that native vegetation must be replanted if any view is cleared to the Contoocook River.
