Wilton Collaborative Space, located in the hall of the 2nd Congregational Church at 21 Gregg St. in Wilton, has scheduled the following activities:
— Wednesday, May 3, 7 p.m.: Make a Seed Bomb/A Bomb of Beauty! Led by Stasia Millett. Seeds include anise hyssop, lupine, coneflower, Sweet William, pinks, and larkspur. Registration is required to ensure sufficient materials at 603-654-1245 or programs@wiltoncommunitycenter.org.
— Thursday, May 4, 7 p.m.: Rakes! – An Open Acoustic Jam Session (every first Thursday). Tunes typically played are from the Irish, Scottish, French-Canadian and American old-time traditions. For information, send email to programs@wiltoncommunitycenter.org or call 603-654-1245.
— Friday, May 5: Wilton Folk Café. The final show of the season features Cameron Sutphin and Mary Hastings, the duo known as New Leaves, performing original songs and classic country and folk. Refreshments provided by Wilton Friends of the Library. Doors open at 7 p.m. for the 7:30 show. The show is free, and donations are appreciated. — Tuesday, May 9, 10 a.m.: Project Linus (ongoing, generally second and fourth Tuesday mornings). Crochet edging on fleece blankets that will be given to local hospitals, police, fire and emergency service departments for children experiencing trauma. No experience is needed. — Wednesday, May 10, 7 p.m.: Herbs in Your Backyard. Herbalist and naturalist Chick Wetherbee will speak on the herbal properties of backyard plants and the power of the culinary herbs in one’s kitchen cabinet.
