Peterborough Folk Music presents Andrew Duhon Thursday, May 11, at 7 p.m. in Bass Hall at Monadnock Center for History and Culture, 19 Grove St. in Peterborough.
Duhon temporarily left his longtime home and musical inspiration of New Orleans, finding himself inspired by the landscape of the Pacific Northwest and particularly its colors, a hue he described as “emerald blue,” for which his album is named,
“Emerald Blue” is an 11-song collection in which Duhon called on friends and collaborators including JanoRix on drums, percussion and harmonies; Myles Weeks on upright and electric basses and harmonies; and Dan Walker on keys and accordion.Tickets are $27 in advance and $33 at the door. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
