Monadnock Chorus is performing at the Peterborough Town House, 1 Grove St. in Peterborough, Saturday, May 6, and Sunday, May 7, at 4 p.m.

Artistic director/conductor Morgan Bothwell has planned a program featuring Ralph Vaughan Williams’ anti-war piece “Dona NobisPacem.” The program is rounded out by Johann Sebastian Bach’s cantata, “Wo sollichfliehen hin, BWV 5” and the “Agnus Dei” from William Byrd’s “Mass for Four Voices.” The chorus will be joined by soloists and a chamber orchestra.

Tickets are $25, free for students, and may be purchased at monadnockchorus.org or at the door.

Monadnock Chorus is an all-volunteer, non-auditioned chorus bringing choral music to singers and audiences throughout the region. The group typically includes 60 to 90 singers who come from towns throughout southern New Hampshire.
