Grand Monadnock Youth Choirs is offering small group voice lessons (SGVL) for children in grades six through nine who would like more experience singing in a small group setting with a focus on improving singing skills, music reading, breathing technique and overall musicality. There is no prerequisite, and singers do not need any prior singing experience.
There will be three unique SGVL sessions, each two hours in length. SGVL will meet from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in Peterborough on March 11, April 8 and May 27. GMYC requires a minimum of three singers to run each session and will accept no more than six singers per session.
Tuition is is $50 per session, $100 for two sessions and $150 for three sessions. Tuition must be paid upon registration to hold a spot. It can be paid online in full through PayPal (with an online transaction fee), or with check or cash sent in advance to GMYC PO Box 54, Peterborough, N.H. 03458.
