On Thursday, Feb. 9 at 5:30 p.m., the Bennington Conservation Commission is sponsoring the monthly free community supper at the Pierce School, 19 Main St.
For something different, the commission has chosen sausages of all types, including vegetarian, as the main entree. The menu will also include German potato salad, sauerkraut, cole slaw, homemade baked beans, homemade pretzels and dessert. In addition, musician David Blanchard will play blues, country and folk music during dinner.
