Seven Hills Foundation announced Monday that its president, David Jordan, will retire June 30, 2023, after 28 years leading the organization.

Jordan will continue to be a part of Seven Hills Foundation, including helping to oversee Crotched Mountain School in Greenfield, which Seven Hills Foundation acquired last month to prevent the schoolโ€™s closure. Jordan was president and CEO of Crotched Mountain Foundation for 10 years before he took over what was then the Worcester Area ARC, which he rebranded as Seven Hills Foundation.ย ย

Seven Hills Foundation has 15 affiliates and 4,700 employees in 235 locations in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire and eight developing countries. The foundation offersย services across the care continuum, serving more than 60,000 children, adults and seniors with disabilities and other life challenges.

โ€œMaking a difference in the lives of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, those dealing with a mental health condition or substance use disorder, or suffering from the effects of trauma has not only been my lifeโ€™s work โ€“ it is my passion,โ€ stated Jordan. โ€œSeven Hills Foundation is about much more than providing services.ย  It is about creating social justice for people who for generations knew only injustice.โ€
