Peterborough Fire & Rescue is offering a free Sand for Seniors program.
To help reduce the risk of slips and falls with the snow and ice coming, the department is offering the delivery of five-gallon buckets of sand with refills as needed. If residents are interested in having sand delivered, or know someone who would be, call 603-924-8090, Ext. 2.
Belletetes, Inc., and Peterborough Fire & Rescue Association are sponsoring the program.
