The Film Club at Peterborough Town Library, 2 Concord St. in Peterborough, will watch “The Black Stallion,” produced by Francis Ford Coppola, on Tuesday. Nov. 8, at 6:15 p.m.

The film is celebrated for its cinematography and was directed by Carroll Ballard. Similar to a book club, the PTL Film Club watches films together and participates in discussion. Discussions are led by Mark Holding, a film studies professor, and explore theme, direction, characterization and more.
