Advent Lutheran Church, 137 U.S. Route 202 in Rindge, will hold a gingerbread contest Saturday, Nov. 12, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Prizes will be given in three categories: Children’s (kindergarten through Grade 12), Adult Traditional (gingerbread houses) and Adult Innovative (imaginative creations). The contest is being judged by Luca Paris, president of the Keene & Peterborough Chamber and owner of Luca’s Mediterranean Café in Keene; Amanda MacKinnon, manager and head chef of Bagel Mill in Peterborough; and Isabelle Baggaley, lead production baker at the Saxy Chef.

Cost to enter is $5, with proceeds to benefit outreach programs in the community. Deadline for entries to be dropped off at the church is Nov. 10. Judging will take place at the Advent Lutheran Church Winter Market on Nov. 12.
