The DubHub Open Stage on Friday, Oct. 28, will feature a set by Suzanne McGettigan and Larry Gilbert.
The open mic starts at 7 p.m., with the 30-minute feature starting at about 8 p.m. McGettigan, a singer/songwriter, was a regular at the old Folkway Coffeehouse in Peterborough and has recored a CD, “A Place in the Woods.” Gilbert has had a long career in jazz, folk and rock. When teamed up together, the duo puts a twist on cover tunes while also creating new original material.
The Open Stage welcomes all types of live performance, music and spoken-word. To sign up for a performance slot, send to email info@dublincommunitycenter.org. Bruce Simpson, will host the session, which is free. The DubHub is located at 1123 Main St. in Dublin.
