The Jaffrey-Rindge MLK Committee welcomes new volunteers to join in planning the “Celebrating Martin Luther King Jr.” annual commemoration, along with student activities, a National Day of Service project and other programs.
Meetings are held once a month from September to January for about an hour, currently the first Tuesdays 6 to 7 p.m., but day and time may be adjusted to members’ schedules. The theme for “Celebrating Martin Luther King Jr.” in 2023 will relate to environmental and social justice. The first meeting will be Tuesday, Sept. 6, from 6 to 7 p.m. on Zoom. Future meetings may be virtual, in-person or hybrid.
