The DubHub Open Stage resumes featured performers Friday, Aug. 26, starting with members of the semi-acoustic instrumental and vocal group, Off the Cuff at Dublin Community Center, 1123 Main St.

All performers are encouraged to sign up ahead of time at info@dublincommunitycenter.org. Performance order will be randomized at 6:55 p.m., with the show starting at 7. Admission is free, but donations are welcome. A collection will also be taken for the featured performers. All styles of music are welcome, as well as poetry, storytelling and other performing arts.

VolkertVolkersz is the host. Depending on the weather, the open stage may be in the garden sanctuary behind Dublin Community Church, next door to the DubHub.

Off The Cuff interprets songs from the 1920s to the 21st century, and has been performing for more than 20 years. The group crosses genres from jazz, swing and blues, to bluegrass, folk and Americana, a mix of obscure and familiar songs with an emphasis on vocal harmony and improvisation. Off The Cuff features Pamela Smith on vocal and guitar, Jonas Taub on vocal and guitar, Andy Chapman  on vocal and clarinet (and more) and Dan Wheeler on bass. However, Chapman will not be able to attend the Aug. 26 performance.
