To residents of Antrim and Bennington in the new Hillsborough House District 30,  I am running as a candidate to represent you in Concord. What you can expect from me is that I will always do my best to consider each legislative measure and vote for the best interest of the working families of this district and New Hampshire.

In my previous three terms, we have dealt with over 5,000 bills. My voting record, available online, will show a consistent emphasis on people. Paramount among the votes are those to cover over 150,000 with health care. You can expect that I will continue to advocate for affordable health care, strong public schools, individual rights, a strong economy through good jobs, rebuilding our infrastructure and common-sense protection for small businesses. I will do all that I can to stop legislation that “downshifts” costs to cities and towns.

You can expect me to be present and working for you at all meetings and sessions. Over my past three terms, I missed one House session (due to hospitalization). I made all committee and subcommittee meetings.

You can expect that I will not sponsor or approve any negative attacks on my opponents and I would hope they would follow that lead. We are all good people, doing what we think is best. I will, however, point out our policy differences. I do not believe we should spend your tax dollars on private education.I do not believe in voter restrictions. I believe in a woman’s right to choose.

You can expect that I will always be just a phone call away, 603-588-2427

I ask for your vote in both the primary on Sept. 13 and general election on Nov. 8
