Thank you to the Avenue A Teen Center in Antrim and the local youth who, in partnership with the New Hampshire Children’s Trust, starred in a short documentary film, “Community. Belonging. Place,” highlighting the teenagers’ thoughts and feelings about their lives, their future, their communities. The film, followed by a panel discussion facilitated by Avenue A Program Director Jacqueline Roland, was presented at the Tuttle Library in Antrim on June 28.
We were impressed and deeply moved by these young people’s thoughtfulness, eloquence and compassion and their willingness to share their lives and dreams with the audience. It is clear that these youth are an asset for our region and that places like Avenue A are instrumental for them as they navigate this stage in their lives. You can view the documentary on YouTube. More importantly, contact Roland if your group or organization would like to host the film and panel discussion.
