Due to a Summer Readers grant from the Children’s Literacy Foundation, the Jaffrey Public library will host a free storytelling event and book giveaway Wednesday, July 27 at 10:30 am on the library lawn.

The guest presenter will be British storyteller, humorist and author Simon Brooks, who will present fairy tales and funny stories to children and parents.

After the storytelling program, all children will have the opportunity to choose two free books to take home for their home libraries.  Registration is required so that CLiF can provide enough books for all ages.  To register, call the library at 603-532-7301 or visit  the library’s event calendar on its website, jaffreypubliclibrary.org.

Jaffrey Public Library is at 38 Main St. In the event of inclement weather, this program will move indoors.
