I am happy to announce that the “Art From The Heart For Ukraine” exhibition, held at the Dublin Community Center May 12 through 30, raised more than $10,000 to support the World Central Kitchen, a nonprofit organization providing meals, food supplies, humanitarian aid and necessities to Ukrainians residing inside their war-torn country and in bordering nations as refugees.
I wish to extend a special thank you to 40 artists, who donated 100% of sales of their artwork to the cause, and I thank the Dublin Community Center for offering their galleries to house the exhibit. I am grateful that so many folks came to the exhibit and donated in support of the Ukrainian people.
