The Peterborough Unitarian Universalist Congregation is hosting a solstice celebration on June 21 at 7 p.m., which is free and open to all. It will take place on the front lawn of the church on Main Street and will include a fire pit, music by local performersย and refreshments.

The event honors the seventh principle of Unitarian Universalism, respect for the interdependent web of all existence, and honors the spiritual teachings of Earth-centered traditions that celebrate the sacred circle of life and instruct people to live in harmony with the rhythms of nature.

People of all ages are invited, and attendees may bring their own chairs.
