The New Hampshire Travel Council and the Monadnock Travel Council invite all interested in the travel and tourism industry to the Cathedral of the Pines Thursday, May 19, to meet and greet others in the industry and learn what is happening in the industry.
Lori Harnois, director of the New Hampshire Division of Travel and Tourism, will give an update on the travel industry, and the plans for the summer and fall campaigns. Simon Thompson, the New Hampshire Travel Council legislative consultant, will provide an update on what is happening in the state Legislature. Rick Swanson, president of the Monadnock Travel Council, and Luca Paris, president of the Greater Keene and Peterborough Chamber of Commerce, will provide information on the Monadnock Region.
Refreshments from local travel businesses and a tour of the Cathedral of the Pines with Gretchen Ziegler, chair of the board of trustees at the cathedral, will be available. The event is free, but register online.
