Canadian musician Matt Andersen will perform at Showroom, the new intimate venue at Colonial Performing Arts Center, 95 Main St. in Keene, Thursday, May 5 at 8 p.m.

Andersen has toured around the world and won multiple European Blues Awards, Maple Blues Awards and other honors. He has amassed over 18 million streams on Spotify and 18 million views on YouTube. The recently released “House to House” is Andersen’s ninth studio album and follows “Halfway Home By Morning” from 2019.

Opening for Andersen will be Terra Lightfoot, a Juno- and Polaris-nominated guitarist-singer-songwriter from Hamilton, Ontario. She recently marked her first decade as a recording artist with her new album “Consider the Speed,” recorded by Grammy-winning producer Jay Newland at Memphis’ Royal Studios.

On Friday, May 6, at 7 p.m., Showroom welcomes We Banjo 3. Debuting in the United States in 2012, the two sets of brothers based in Nashville and Galway, Ireland – Enda and FergalScahill and Martin and David Howley – perform Americana, bluegrass and Celtic music to create a sound they have named “Celtgrass.”

They have performed at festivals such as Merlefest, BottleRock, Summercamp, ROM,  Wintergrass and others.
