High Mowing School middle-schoolers will showcase their circus skills such as juggling, acrobatics and unicycling as they tell their version of the classic story of Winnie the Pooh in this year’s production of the Hilltop Circus, “In the Hundred Acre Wood.”
The show will take place Thursday, May 19, from 4 to 5:30 p.m.; Friday, May 20, from 6:30 to 8 p.m.; and Saturday, May 21, from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at High Mowing School Pine Hill Campus, 77 Pine Hill Drive, Wilton.
The seventh- and eighth-graders chose skills they wanted to learn and choreographed a corresponding act to make the magic of the circus come alive. The circus is a family event open to the public, and people who bring a donation to Wilton’s Open Cupboard Food Pantry will receive a free bag of popcorn. The even is free, with a suggested donation of $10 for adults and $5 for children.
