Members of the local EarthSong Artists Group will show “Art From the Heart,” an exhibition to benefit the people of Ukraine, from May 12 to 30 at Dublin Community Center, 1123 Main St., Dublin.

An opening reception is scheduled for Thursday, May 12, from 5 to 7 p.m. Refreshments will be served.

Following the Russian invasion, 10 members of the EarthSong Artists Group shared a desire to support the people of Ukraine through sales of art donations and decided to organize an exhibit, the proceeds of which would be donated to a nonprofit organization providing Ukrainians with food and humanitarian supplies. The Dublin Community Center offered its galleries for the exhibit, and the nonprofit World Central Kitchen was chosen to receive 100% of the proceeds from art sales.

The following artists are exhibiting: Maureen Ahern, Susan Barker, Tamara Benaquist, Don Brehm, April Claggett, Barbara Coburn, Kim Cunningham, Scott Cunningham, Barbara Danser, Hal Danser, Carol Doleac, Carolyn Edwards, Susan Ellis, Rebecca Fredrickson, William Gill, Linda Greenwood, Genevieve Groesbeck, Kenneth Greatbatch, Holly Harmon-Morse, Mary Iselin, Carol Jue, Mary Kirk, IlonaKwiecien, JordanaKorsen, Arlene Laurenitis, Maryann Mullett, Chris Myott, Nancy Massey, Christina Menke, Mary Meyers, Tom Meyers, Jessie Pollock, Susan Roston, Andrea Scheidler, Linda Singer, Craig Stockwell, Pamela Tarbell, Jeanne Thieme, Gill Truslow, AnneMarie Warren and John Weidman.

The exhibit may be viewed during the first weekend on Friday, May 13, from noon to 4 p.m., Saturday, May 14, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Sunday, May 15, from noon to 4 p.m.. During the following two weeks, the exhibit may be viewed when the DubHub is open, the hours of which may be found in the calendar on its website, dublincommunitycenter.org.
