High Mowing School’s traditional May Day celebration returns Saturday, April 30 (rain date May 1), from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the school’s campus on Abbot Hill Road in Wilton.
The in-person festival also features the Temple-Wilton Community Farm and the Flying Gravity Circus. Events include traditional maypole and Morris dancing, a theatrical sendoff to winter, live music, a performance by the Flying Gravity Circus with free, interactive circus arts instruction for children, a pottery sale, games and activities for children and food. The event is free and open to the public.
