Students and families from the homeschool group in Phillipston, Mass., joined Monadnock Community Hospital volunteers and The Window Shop (MCH’s gift shop) in providing more than 600 food treats, mystery gifts and spring plants for a St. Patrick’s Day “pot of gold” giveaway for all MCH employees on Thursday, March 17.

While many staff chose their gifts from the hospital’s gift shop, assortments were packaged and delivered to departments unable to get to the gift shop, including the hospital’s satellite practice and those who work second and third shift.

“The hospital is grateful for the homeschool group and MCH volunteers for the many generous and creative contributions that made this a fun expression of appreciation for all of the hard-working employees at MCH, and also for Toni Gildone, The Window Shop and volunteer coordinator, who brought this wonderful idea to the hospital for our employees,”  stated MCH President and CEO Cyndee McGuire.
