I want to thank Bob Dillberger for his very thoughtful letter to the editor in the Tuesday, March 15, Ledger-Transcript (“Decision bodes ill for Mason’s future”). His clear, concise appraisal of the defeat of the wetland amendment in Mason and his point that it reflects the “ national trend toward prioritizing individual self-interest over community benefit” was spot-on. I’m afraid it’s a sad time for us all.
